I was kind of hoping for the goods list to remain the same as it would be safe for my wallet, but it looks like the list is updated with small changes! There will be new jumbo/mini uchiwas, posters, clear files, and photo sets (except for the group photo set, which remains the same), as well as charms, a grey t-shirt and entirely new items like the mini tote, hand towel, and luggage tag. And the accessory case! I’m really curious about that one as it was list listed as “komono ire” and sounds like something I might really like more than one of.

Arashi News Round-up

  • Yesterday we got to see the Japonism goods for the first time! The masking tape (venue-limited item) for Nagoya is blue. And it comes in a set of two tapes! I’m all excited about it, but I didn’t really order any, because it’s too expensive with our current exchange rate (T_T). Anyway, you can check out the goods here.
  • Ninomiya Kazunari will be starring in Fuji TV’s New Year drama SP which will be aired on January 3rd 2016, at 9pm. The drama will be “Botchan”, based on Natsume Soseki’s novel. Since lately I’ve been feeling like reading and/or rereading Natsume Soseki, I’m looking forward to timing my Botchan read with the drama 😀
  • Arashi, along with TOKIO, HSJ, Ikuta Toma and Totsuka Shota, supported V6 at their 20th anniversary concert. Arashi went onstage as backup dancers during the encore, for “TAKE ME HIGHER”. Look for the news clips all over dailymotion and tudou; they’re fun to watch XD

As usual, the list is out, but the prices have not yet been announced. I’m really excited about this year’s goods because I didn’t get the Waku2 masking tape when it was out and I’ve been hoping for Arashi to have masking tapes in their goods list again ever since! And not only it’s in the list, it’s the venue limited item – which means 5 different colours to choose from! I’m getting overexcited just thinking about it… of course, I will most probably not have enough money to order them all, haha.

Other goods I’m interested in: the “wa” stickers, the Japonism calendar (how overdone is overdone, I wonder?), the wrapping cloth and the envelope. These are all the sort of items I’d use normally. I think I might want the pouch and the blanket, but I’m expecting them to be over my budget. The t-shirt will probably be too tight again, so I won’t consider it. I was thinking of not getting uchiwas or penlights this time around, but the description of the penlight intrigues me. I’ll be looking forward to see the goods preview (on November 5th, before the Nagoya Dome tour, probably?).

note: by the way, leaks for the album are out. As usual, I have no idea where to find these leaks and am torn between asking around or just waiting patiently for my CDs to arrive. Right now I’m doing the latter, but it’s so hard being online when everyone’s already talking about the album!

Blast in Miyagi goods list (and some Waku2 news)

The goods list is up at Johnny’s net!

It looks so interesting; there’s a lot of goods that are of the unusual type. I want so many of them! I wonder which I’ll end up getting. I wonder if I would bother taking the long trip to Miyagi just to get goods, since I was going to be in Tokyo around that time anyway. Long expensive trip to buy goods or buying them expensively through online services? Hmm… of course, I’m assuming I won’t hit the ballot, I’m not very lucky with these things.

In other news, there will be a Waku Waku Gakkou live broadcast in Singapore this year as well! Lets hope that this is a trend that will continue, and maybe available for concerts one day. This year all three Tokyo time slots will have a live broadcast. Tickets start selling at Shaw Cinema’s website tomorrow.

Long Overdue Trip Post #4: Fukuoka Dome

The 14th was a really exciting day ^^ – we had agreed to go line up for goods with the four Arashians we met at our hostel, so we left very early in the morning for Fukuoka Yahoo! Dome. The thing was, we thought we were super early; there were literally no one in the streets when we walked out and it was still very dark out, and even the bus only had one or two other passengers in it. But almost every stop had more and more Arashians coming in – people with Arashi totes, phone straps, etc., people dressed up in their ichiban’s colours, and all that. We ran up the stairs to the Dome, stopping only to take a picture of it, and noticed that the queue for goods already went halfway around the Dome.

Con-2

Finally, my Beautiful World goods…

They have arrived! Late, I know, but I got them for considerably cheaper than the other sellers I found, so I’m not going to complain XD. I only ordered the tote, the shirt, and the phone strap, because those were the items I wanted straight away, while I think I can wait for the other items in my “want” list. I really like this year’s t-shirt the best, and I like the bag, although my favourite tote is 5×10’s.

Day 4: Book Off, Mandarake (Akihabara & Ikebukuro)

Today’s outing wasn’t supposed to be Arashi related, but it kind of ended up that way. We went to Akiba, after which we headed to Ikebukuro to meet with my friend that I haven’t seen in about three years. We shopped at Book Off (mostly manga and CDs for me – Art-School, Bump of Chicken, Spitz, etc.) and dropped by Mandarake. I used to go to the one in Shibuya and Nakano Broadway for Blythe items, but I didn’t know that they had idol stuff too! (Well, back then I wasn’t really into these stuff after all.)

I ended up getting both volumes of C, D & G no Arashi and Pikanchi, as well as some CDs and doujinshi. Next year I think I must save more for my trip here…
